Our Story
Veggie Island is a dream brought to life by Nidhi, our chef and founder, whose passion for cooking comes from the heart. Growing up in a small town in the heart of India, she learned the art of cooking from her mother, who prepared every meal with love, care, and traditional flavours. Over time, Nidhi enhanced her skills with her own creativity, blending authenticity with innovation.
Being a pure vegetarian, Nidhi often faced the challenge of finding truly vegetarian options when dining out — places where one could eat without worrying about cross-contamination. This inspired her to create Veggie Island — a space dedicated to pure vegetarian food, where quality, taste, and trust go hand in hand.
Her vision is simple: to offer food that feels like home, respects dietary values, and brings people together over fresh, wholesome, and flavourful meals. Every dish at Veggie Island reflects her journey, her roots, and her commitment to serving food made with care and integrity.
